Amen! Resources for Teaching World Religions

I started this with a simple Google search for “World Religions,” which led me to this University of Minnesota website. It gives a brief review of six major religions, Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.

I find myself discovering new teaching resources every time I make a pathfinder. I found this National Geographic lesson plan on religion in Asia through a search on thinkfinity.org. I stumbled onto thinkfinity when searching through EDSITEment, the educator website of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

PBS has an excellent documentary, God in America, available for free through their website. Additional features include study guides, quizzes, and discussion kits.
